Problem
Many people struggle to find shoes that fit comfortably due to variations in foot shape. Traditional online shopping lacks customization and often results in poorly fitting shoes, leading to dissatisfaction and returns.
Idea
A mobile app that allows users to customize shoes based on their unique foot shape, ensuring a perfect fit. The app will provide an intuitive and guided shopping experience with interactive previews and recommendations to make the process enjoyable and seamless.
Potential paths
The app can expand by incorporating AI-powered foot scanning for precise measurements.
Future collaborations with designers or brands could further enhance personalization and exclusivity.
Naming
The Italian word "Forma" means "form" or "shape." It reflects our mission to create stylish, custom-fit shoes that adapt to each person’s unique feet, combining comfort and design seamlessly.
Persona
Our persona is an online shopper with unique foot shapes looking for a customizable shoe shopping app. She wants a guided, easy-to-navigate experience to find comfortable, well-fitted shoes and enjoy a seamless purchasing process.

Usability testing
Based on feedback from moderated and unmoderated usability tests, we improved the clarity and visual guidance of the 3D scan process, highlighted key information on the cart screen for better readability, and enhanced accessibility by adding a 3D scan button to the home screen.
